The following criteria will be used to select the scholarship winners:

• Meet the minimum GPA of 3.0

• The student's family must be a BAHS Music Booster member (Join HERE)

• The student must be a senior and enrolled in a BAHS band, chorus or strings ensemble

• Quality of two short essays (250 words or less)

  1. How has participation in band, strings, or chorus influenced you during your high school years?

  2. How will your music experience help you as you move on after high school?

• Music activities

• Other community and school activities

• Honors, awards, and academic achievement

• Recommendation from a Director (Boosters will obtain recommendations; students do not need to ask directors for this)

Please note that while students can apply in multiple ensemble categories, a student can win only one scholarship.
